The
Mongolian Death Worm is an ancient worm that is said to be the length of 2 – 5
feet (0.6 – 1.5 meters). The Mongolian death worm is said to only be found in
the Gobi desert, the creature is said to be able to swallow humans whole, and
slithers like a snake in the barren desert. This abomination is said that when
it attacks it’s victims it spits out a acid like substance, slowly and
painfully eating away the victim’s flesh.
The
Gobi desert is one of the largest deserts in world. 3rd largest to
be exact, it is 500,000 sq. feet of only sand and rolling hills. The Gobi or
Mongolian desert is the location of Russia’s nuclear bomb testing. Yes, NUCLEAR! Some of the natives to
Mongolia say that the olgoi-khorkhoi or
“Death Worm” has been around since ancient times. Some scientists say that the
creature is a myth. A hoax. A legend. But after a recent discovery a video
camera was found in the Mongolian desert not too long ago.
Two
friends, Benton Davis and were in a motocross racing. They were in last place,
Benton in 17th and Cole Zinger in 18th. They were doing
the usual thing when they are in motocross races, recording their race. The two
friends arrive at a checkpoint, and with no the sun setting and with no trace
of the other racers in sight, the two friends decide to just keep moving, and
hopefully pick up a trail.
Over
five hours past and the two friends have gotten no signs of tracks, and no sign
of water. The two friends decide to call it a day. They lie in the cold sand in
a desert mile away from the nearest town. In the middle of the night … is what
he says attacked by something. “It felt like something bit me! Cole says to
Benton. Benton hurries to see what had happened. A large gash was in Cole’s
leg, his clothes had burned what seemed to be burned off, and his leg was
slowly being eaten away.
They
decide to get back to finding the trial, only a few hours later the bikes run
out of battery. Stranded. Cole bleeding. There is no sign of help. Benton
begins to walk to a tall sand hill, only a few seconds after he leaves is Cole
attacked again. Only this time Benton got it on tape. The creature looked like
a large worm, some sort of no eyed, large mouth, hairless creature. Benton
tells Cole that he has to keep going. But before Benton could leave he records
the hair on his arm standing up. Benton claimed that he could feel a slight
electricity running through his body. Could this be the Death Worm? Could a
worm send waves of electricity?
The
only creature known to man to be able to conduct electricity is a stingray and
an eel. Neither of which live in the desert. Some scientists say that when the
bombs were dropped if a creature were to be living in that area, it could evolve
into some sort of super mutant. Could a small worm know be a much larger,
scarier, creature that the natives of the region fear?
Cole
is attacked again. Benton too far away to hurry back. The yelling stops. Over a
sand mound Benton does not see his friend. … is gone. Missing. Nowhere to be
seen. Benton decides that he must find help. He runs up and over sand mounds,
only a little while later does the electricity return. Benton sets the camera
down. He slowly gets on his knees.
“I
am Benton Davis. I am married to Elizabeth Davis. A few hours ago me and Cole
Zinger were in last place of the Mongolian motocross race. Something attacked
Cole and now he is missing.” In the back ground you can see the sand moving.
“If anyone finds this tape, please tell my wife what happened. Tell her I love
her very much.” Benton is attacked. He is pulled down into the sand.
Benton
Davis was never found. Neither was Cole Zinger but Benton’s camera was
discovered. As were the two motocross bikes. No one has been able to prove
whether the Mongolian Death Worm is real or fiction, and what could have the
strength to pull a man into the sand? So far there is no doubt in researcher’s
minds that the tape is real. Some say it is too perfect. Could some type of
worm have attacked these two friends? Is there really a Mongolian Death Worm?
And what ever happened to Benton and …? No one knows for sure, but many people
believe that there are creatures beyond our imagination.
If it were to be Bigfoot, the
Loch Ness Monster, or the Mongolian Death Worm. There still are millions of
creatures waiting to be discovered. And some are much more dangerous than
others.
